Mason County Garbage does not collect yard waste. However, Alderbrook has its own Composting Center, run by the Environment Committee, where you can drop off yard waste. Please separate soft and hard materials and do not bring scotch broom, ivy, blackberry vines or plastic bags.
The Organics Collection Site is open on Mondays (except holidays) from 10am to 12pm from April through October and on the first Saturday of the month (except holidays) from March through November. It is not open in the winter. The Center may be closed temporarily if a burn ban is in effect. Please check the Foremast calendar for the current schedule.
The Composting Center is open to Alderbrook residents only.
Mason County accepts yard waste year around at the Eells Hill Transfer Station located at 501 W Eells Hill Rd, Shelton – County fee applies.
